Luz Barbosa works in the audiovisual industry since 2017 as an Assistant Director. She worked for brands such as Nike, Instagram, Gol, Samsung, Ambev, as well as collaborating in clips of artists such as Anitta, Pocah, Tássia Reis, Pitty and Liniker, the last one yielding the invitation to join the team of the series September Mornings premiered by Amazon Prime and beginning her experience with entertainment.

In 2020 he begins to direct for the advertising market, participating mainly in Branded Content projects and helping brands to open relevant dialogues with their clients.

His most prominent film is "Vamos Dançar?" (Let's dance), an experimental documentary filmed in Super 8 and made in collective creation with other LGBT filmmakers. The short film has toured national and international festivals telling the story of a lesbian couple together for 32 years, reviving hope for a possible LGBT future.

She is currently producing her next authorial film, focused on the craftsmanship of drums and their power as communicators between the physical and the spiritual.
